Its not a small 5 gig library of 16 bit samples like Addictive Drums either. What half newbies don’t understand that 60 Gigs of 24 bit audio is a huge download with many ppl sharing the servers too. Man i remember how painful N.I was until they adopted an online installer too. PM is fantastic and tells you everything that is happening and handles it all for very well you but your complaint that you had to install it too !!Īddictive drums has a similar model installer and its all painless. You usually don’t have to set the paths if you just reboot after install it will be automatically found. You didn’t need to do that uninstall re install I’m not sure why superior drummer can’t do the same. Similar programs can download their virtual instruments and samples in one simple process.
Ive done similar downloads that take half the time. This download is taking an unreal amount of time, I 100 percent blame the product manager (you can’t just download it off the site?). I just uninstalled/deleted then entire library and am re-downloading the 19 gigs, praying that it will work. But its a problem that the whole process is so convoluted. Im fairly new to music programs, so maybe someone with more computer expeirence could work through this. When I did find the library it was a bunch of unzipped files and installers that wouldn’t work (what did I spend so much time downloading?). I couldn’t figure out the path from my superior drummer program to the library. I see complaints all over forums about this.
Its crazy to have to download a product manager, the superior drummer program, then the library of samples separately. The download process for this program is asinine.
